I got my first longboard almost 1 year ago now, and here’s how my shoes have held up. I ride exclusively goofy, so my left shoe has bore the brunt of my abuse lol.
So I made a post a couple of hours ago that got taken down (Sorry for not wearing a helmet, mods). And one person commented on how I foot brake.
Whenever I brake, Ive always done a short push or foot tap to kind of gauge my speed before I fully lower my foot or just to kill my momentum a bit. The commenter said they struggled with foot braking, and that my method looked like a good strategy. Does anyone else do this?
So I’ve been wanting a crt for a bit because I miss them from my childhood, and my friend said she had one in her closet. It’s a Memorex mt2024 20”, no remote, all buttons work, I haven’t tested the inputs yet. Anyways, she asked for some money for the tv bc she was planning on listing it of FB marketplace if I didn’t get it. I know hardly anything about these things, so how much is it worth, not counting the ridiculous eBay scalpers.
On another note, what’s the best way to hook this up to my pc to play emulators and watch old shows. My biggest concern is the 4:3 aspect ratio. How do people watch anime and stuff in 4:3? Also is it best to use the red, white, and yellow ports, or s-video?
