Proposal for 750 Homes on Swindon Lane / Hyde Lane Fields - Petition and Update
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share an update regarding the fields around Swindon Lane/Hyde Lane.
Developers have been actively looking at these fields and are now progressing proposals for a development of up to 750 homes on the site.
Local councillor Richard Lawler has raised objections and is calling for an Environmental Impact Assessment to be carried out before plans move any further forward.
These fields are hugely valued by many people in the local community for walking, recreation, wildlife and open green space. A petition has been started to show the level of local support for protecting the area and to help raise awareness of the proposals.
