Internet providers?

Moving to Cheltenham soon and need to pick an internet provider asap! Will be around Pittville, any recommendations? Boyf wants to avoid Virgin media (previous bad experience). I saw Vodafone is supposed to be a good option but there a lot of info online! We sometimes both wfh and he plays online gaming, so needs to keep up.

Any other recommendations would be great too! We’re looking for a new gym (liking the look of the leisure centre), nail salon for me, hair salon for me and barbers for him :) also any cool social clubs about?

Thanks!

Places to go for a Swim

Hi everyone,

My partner and I are fairly new to the area and, with the weather getting warmer, we were wondering if anyone could recommend good places nearby for outdoor swimming?

We’re mainly looking for swimming spots, but we’d also be open to other outdoor activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, or nice places to spend the day by the water.

Any recommendations would be really appreciated. Thank you!

Terminals - if you're a fan of shoegaze music

I've booked Birmingham based band terminals to play in Cheltenham. They will play arctangent festival later in the year and played 2000 trees last year.

I would recommend starting on their latest single push.

Support local venues, British bands and come and support.

Any job openings in cheltenham?

Uni is ending and I'm looking for a summer job for 2 months or maybe longer.
I've had no luck with GOV.uk and it's honestly been super stressful looking.

I'm looking for stuff like food service or something to get some quick cash, preferably on High street or somewhere around that location.

Thanks.

The willowherb is looking incredible up on Leckhampton Hill at the moment

Did a quick stroll around the Cotswold Way loop and the pink fields are absolutely everywhere near the top right now. Always love the contrast between the bright flowers and the view over Cheltenham below. Definitely worth the steep walk if you haven’t been up there in a while.

Renting with pets

hello, I am moving to Cheltenham next month, does anyone have any experience of successfully finding somewhere to rent with pets? I have 2 cats. I’m not sure if Rightmove is the best option? is it usually easy enough to find say a 2 bed flat for rent? Also wondered what the best areas are for a couple in their late 20s - I like the sound of Montpellier but don’t know much about Cheltenham. thanks!
