Shortkeys - The multi-line text expander/replacement app

![branding](https://thechels.uk/images/apps/shortkeys-banner.png)

The text replacement feature baked into iOS is ok, but didn’t meet my needs. I wanted multi-line expansion, I wanted to organise my keys by tags or categories.

About

  • Creates phrases known as a ShortKey and their replacement text
  • Use the custom keyboard to trigger the replacements
  • App supports light/dark/system modes and tint colours
  • Manage tags with name, colours and icon
  • Assign keys to tags
  • Built in SwiftUI for iOS 26+
  • iCloud sync and import/export in JSON

Cost

  • App is free for 10 Shortkeys
  • Tip jar to unlock 5 more
  • Annual subscription at £7.99 for unlimited

Fuel Prices in Cheltenham

A while ago I shared a page I had created that showed local (111 forecourts) of fuel price data by type pulling in data from the gov's official feed.

Well, I've updated the site at https://cheltenham-od.uk/ and the fuel page has addresses - that link to google maps and a easier to use table, plus headline lowest prices.

I've added a bunch of other useful data (planning applications, house prices, contact numbers, air quality, fix my street, and a aggregation of local news - so you can see the headlines without all the bloat, adverts, tracking, clickbait etc)

it's all had a bit of a design refresh too, I would love some feedback and thoughts on what else could be added to make it more useful to you?

Also if you run a local business would you be interested in have a directory and a dedicated business listing page?

Looking for chronically ill bloggers

Hi all, I have made nuchronic.uk after spending a year in a dark room and out of work suffering from a chronic illness.

It is a web ring/aggregator using RSS feeds to pull in content from other sources (any source with a feed). I am looking for any bloggers, YouTubers, etc., that have a chronic illness. The topics don’t need to be illness-related.

My hope is to grow this out to help people find their people online.

Drop me a reply or a DM with your site if you wish to be added.

Thanks for reading 🙏

Do you have a blog/youtube ?

Hi all,

Does anyone here have a blog, substack, YouTube or other digital outlet?

I have built nuchronic.uk after my battle with ME/CFS.

I would like to add more sources to it. It’s essentially a webring/aggregator for anyone chronically ill. I am hoping to raise awareness and share content with others. Not all content is about illness it can be about anything - but a place to bring us together.

If you have any suggestions please let me know here, or DM/Chat if you prefer.

Thanks.

Hey,

I have made a hacker news style blogroll site aimed at sharing blog posts from authors who have chronic illnesses, with the hope of promoting and sharing.

The topics of blogs and blog posts can be anything and not limited to chronic illnesses. The more variety the better imho.

The site pulls in RSS feeds from the user’s website and provides a link to it on this site. The site looks for new content every hour, with some filters to stop spamming. We don’t copy or share the content as it belongs to the author, we take the title and author and provide a link.

If you have a blog and would like to be added, just reply or message me in private chat (if you prefer) with your website.

This is all done free, forever. Site is dark mode and mobile friendly etc. future plans include auto posting to Bluesky/mastodon and other places automatically with a link to the source.
