How much experience should I get before going for masters ?
I’ll be graduating soon and currently have an offer as an AI Engineer at a fintech company.
Long term though, I want to do a Masters outside India in Robotics or related fields. Right now I’m thinking of working first because going as a fresher feels a bit rushed and I feel experience would help a lot both for admissions and clarity.
What do you think is the sweet spot in terms of work experience before applying? 1 years? 2? More?
Also which countries would you suggest for Robotics/AI related masters considering both opportunities and research quality.
Apart from my job, what skills would you recommend I keep building in parallel? I’m also into indie hacking and trying to build products + generate side income on the side, so I don’t want to just stay limited to my 9-5.
Would genuinely appreciate advice from people who’ve taken a similar path.
