Not sure if I'm the only person in the world who cares about the anime's ED but it's so beautiful and I never expected it. (and happy late Memorial Day)

Firstly, beautiful song by Kano.

Showing the girls of various factions sitting with each other on a sunset beach with the silhouettes of warships behind them. The rays of light piercing through the clouds is somewhat heavenly in appearance (makes sense considering it's evoking the Last Supper painting).

It definitely showing that we don't have to be enemies, and have more in common than we think. The ocean itself has no borders. Quite sad to say that most of these girls were sunk fighting each other or scrapped after the war, but the depiction that their representations (souls maybe?) now sit side by side at a dinner table is very heartwarming.

Coupled with inspiringly kind lyrics that also reinforces those very same ideas.

"We are looking at the same gentle waves
That's a message between us
We are connected through this blue ocean"

"Please stay with me
Please don't give up
Until the morning we can hold each other's hands"

I have been an avid naval history enthusiast for most of my life, but I had initially laughed off the idea of ship girls as just another way to make cute girls do cute things. However, I see now that both Kancolle and Azur Lane carve a place for the naval history in popular culture and in a way preserves it for many more years to come.

Favorite human characters, since it seemed fun!

Saw someone make one earlier, now I feel obligated to share mine

Was hard to narrow down some, because there are quite a few that I love

The totally based mainline game list. Yes I was a Sinnoh kid, how can you tell?

For the record, SV are alright. Certain aspects of them are more praised than they should be (especially the box legends). Not a fan of a ton of the Pokemon designs, human character doll-like artstyle, and terrible lag.
