adopting rescue birds
im in the habit of adopting rescue birds. sometimes they are not in good health. ive had many birds and parrots my entire life. i want to help birds that need it most. i experience loss sometimes from doing this. the rescue league people really seem to appriciate it and some birds have made great recoverys and become thriving members of the main flock. I was just wondering if anyone has experience with doing a lot of bird rescue ones and did they ever start to feel burnt out from it. my mom is and she doesn't like to meet the new ones anymore. I hope that never happens to me. I am emotional because i lost one recent and am getting 4 more 2moro and they are coming from a rough situation, 1 is looks really not great. it think it is worth it to give these little living creatures there best chance at there best life. I think maybe I will tell the rrscue league i want a break after this. but it is so wonderful and rewarding having many happy healthy singing birds. birdie and his wife bird are my favorite and they are married and I have them the longest, from how birdie was when i got him to now he is like a transformed person of a bird. i also love all my birds but birdie is the most freindly and he loves to sit with me, and then his wife joins but she is not cuddly.
