I recently received a tentative PhD offer at the University of Vienna starting around September 1st, and I’m an international student coming from India. I need to arrange accommodation before applying for my visa, but I’m completely new to the process in Austria and honestly a bit overwhelmed.

I would really appreciate advice regarding:

1. student dorms or affordable accommodation options
2. which websites are trustworthy
3. areas that are convenient for University of Vienna
4. how early I should book accommodation
5. visa-related accommodation requirements
