Any idea know what’s making these holes in my yard?

Recently tilled my yard and these dig spots started popping up shortly after. I’m not sure how helpful the 3rd and 4th pictures are because they don’t really capture the depth well, but they look like two spots where digging/tunneling may have started and then stopped. One of the holes also seems to head toward a nearby tree/root area.

I’m in Northern Colorado in a suburban area. No obvious dirt mounds around the holes. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Let me know if there’s other information I could include.
