What can be cosmetically done with my dark tooth

Hey everyone, I’m in the uk, and have an NHS dentist. I have a grey tooth, from trauma years ago and it’s gone noticeably darker after having a root canal procedure. (Massive infection over 6 months 2 clean outs and one final procedure with 3 lots of antibs 😓) got it done 3 months ago and it’s still settling- had it checked last week as I knocked it and it hurt abit, for about a week.

It’s settled down now and feels normalish? I’m just very self conscious about it and I smile a lot. I don’t think I’d get anything done to it until I know it’s settled and healed 100% as dentist says the infection site is starting to heal but isn’t fully healed yet, as massive gap in the bone, as is expected for 3 months out of root canal, as they explained the infection was pretty large, and I was in so much pain at the time it was the worst thing ever!!!

What is budget friendly that would make my tooth a less noticeable colour?

I heard internal bleaching is a thing, obviously I’m not expecting that on NHS so would pay. I don’t want to go down the route of getting it out and getting an implant YET. As I know eventually is can fail and I will need it out. But not ready for that yet.

Please can you explain what I can have done and rough prices.
