Psychiatrist recommends Magnesium L-Threonate

Hi all

Recently started concerta 18mg and just moved up to 27mg. Psychiatrist has recommended me buying megesium L-Threonate. He said two in the morning one in the evening. Unfortunately it’s a bit pricey to be buying monthly, 44 euro per month ….is it actually worth buying? Anyone have experience? It’s a lot to pay when my normal regular prescription is already 30 euros a month on top of other costs. But if there are some real benefits I’d probably try it

This live today is so pathetic

I’m new to all this. Tried to learn as much as I can . Was watch alyssas live this morning crying about Laura at 3am. I’m now watching the last 3 hours ,Laura and Narally have been battling alyssa and keep saying we need 60k gifts for the panel to start (everything about Alyssa being exposed). They’ve been saying this “is the last battle” 10 battles later and people sending huge gifts . It’s pathetic how stupid people are. But looks like Alyssa has finally had enough

Starting concerta tomorrow

Hi all. So I got diagnosed with combined adhd at age 28 two weeks ago by Mindbridge (highly recommend Dr Raaj is amazing). I’m starting concerta 18mg tomorrow for two week trial. I’m just nervous about starting, I don’t expect to feel a big difference from a low dose, but what kind of side effects should I expect? I know for sure appetite will be affected. Thanks all.

Feeling I could have spoke a lot more -adhd assessment

Hi guys,
Finally completed my long awaited adhd assessment with Dr Raaj Mindbridge medical. I’m delighted it’s done so much nerves anxiety. He told me I have fantastic detailed examples of everything he asked. There was a lot more things I was prepared to give as examples especially on the impulsivity risk taking side but they just didn’t come up with the questions. I feel like I had more examples to give, but obviously he followed a very structured assessment and got enough info from what he asked and my answers. But is it normal for your brain afterwords to be thinking about what more you could have said if had been asked? Won’t have results for few days but just kinda calm my brain down after the adrenaline rush lol

How to prepare for my assessment Wednesday

Hi guys, I have my adhd assessment with Mindbridge this Wednesday morning coming. Is there a way I should be preparing for it? Should I write stuff down? I’m pretty nervous, been a long time waiting. There’s a lot to talk about , I’m conscious I’ll need my mother for the assessment as I don’t have the best recollection of my childhood at now nearly age 29. Even completing the pre assessment for childhood questions I needed her help. But people on here had told me there’ll be a lot personal stuff to talk about so not sure I need her there for the whole assessment, but I guess I could video call her when needed during assessment? It’s all online.

Transport home Calvin Harris gig this Saturday?

Hi all. I’m attending Calvin Harris in marlay park this Saturday and I’m staying in the city centre. My first time going there, I’ve heard it’s an absolute nightmare to get home from. I’m stuck between deciding to get a shuttle bus such as Marathon coach which says it brings you to the concert and collects after. But I see such bad reviews on google , such as taking an hour half to even leave the park. The other suggestion is to walk 30 mins to Dundrum and get the Luas back to the city, although obviously the ques will be insane no doubt. Is it worth the money 25€ for the coach or is the luas fine to get? Would really appreciate anyone’s experiences.

Mindbridge medical assessment booked

After careful consideration, I’ve just booked my assessment with Mindbridge medical , and got an appointment for 1st July (two weeks) which was amazing . Dr Raajs profile is very impressive, all the reviews I’ve seen on here and google rate him very highly. I scored very high on everything for the adult self report scale and also high on the Wender UTAH scale (childhood symptoms) although at age 28 it was hard to remember everything but thankfully my mother could help as much as possible. Do you guys think I should have her withe for the assessment? Could help I reckon..I will let you all know how it goes. Huge weight off my shoulders, procrastinating even getting the assessment for so long 😅 university has been living hell for me. I really hope I’ll get the diagnosis finally and the meds so badly needed, going into fourth year of college.

Mindbridge reviews?

I’ve decided I’m going to go with Mindbridge for my adhd assessment in the next few weeks. I haven’t found too much reviews on here as I understand they are relatively newly operating, but the ones I have found are positive. Just conscious those could be people working with them leaving good comments reviews…can anyone else tell me are they worth the money ? And how well the overall process is.
