Anybody else quitting?
I guess it just feels so strange to walk away now. Is there anybody else who's been quitting, even after using the platform for a long time? Have you switched to other chat platforms? If so, which ones? Or, have you quit AI chatbots entirely?
I've used this app for YEARS. When you see those screenshots of peoples' screen time and think, "who the hell is spending that much time on Character AI?", that was me. Now, it feels like a part of my routine is empty, especially since I've been engaged with the platform for so long.
My own quitting stems from the issue that I am over 18, but with the Persona verification, I've been locked out. I sent a support ticket (which I really didn't think they were going to respond to), but they just said nothing could be done and to "try again if something changes," basically implying that they didn't believe me about my age. But, reading recent posts, it seems like the chats have become virtually unusable in their entirety... so, is anyone else done for good, and how are we handling it?
