I was on a wonderful run. I got to delta labs. I was almost there! I had almost gotten to abyss again! so, I get to the electric orb room. let’s get climbing. and… oh. I GOT FUCKING BLASTED BY ELECTRICITY. WITH NO INDICATOR. I must be the my the most unlucky person on the planet.
there should be SOME part of the campaign that FORCES you to use some type of boosting. I mean, like, yeah, we already do have boost course, but a player could go through the entire campaign, struggling, not knowing about boosting, and thus having a bit of a hard time in abyss, without EVER looking about challenges, and Even if they do, they could also just not play boost course. + some casual players will most likely not use very complicated mechanics if they can, so having at least one part in the game, like a medium sized gap or something, and a paper saying something hinting to boosting.
IM ON GRANDMA’S BACK YARD (at least I think thats the map), PLAYING BADWARE, I PLACE A COMPUTER IN A GOOD SPOT, GET TAUNTED IMMEDIATELY. Oh well, that’s fine. It’s just a taunt. Ok let’s camp the computer. And I can’t land a flipping hit on anyone thats on the computer. Well, let’s place another somewhere else. And they’ve almost destroyed the other one. Well, let’s rift. And nobody gets it by the rift, and I don’t hit anyone after the rift. Eventually, there’s not much time left. So I target ONE particular taunt hot dog, and eventually… nope. Nothin. NOTHIN. No kills. am I just a fucking loser?
im a newb, and here’s my problem: either I play solo, take bell, mart, icbm, get good upgrades, get to level 8, die. otherwise, I wait ten minutes waiting for a good party lobby that is early on, and we have no idea what we’re doing, and we don’t get double jump because we waste it on defuse kit and tria orbs, and then we take altar of purgatory, and then proceed to die. this all sucks.
