How do you standardly reset your focus when you’re in a deep procrastination rut?

Hey guys, I’ve hit a wall this week. I have a mountain of tasks to get through, but every time I sit down at my desk, my brain just completely shuts down and looks for distractions.

I’ve tried the Pomodoro technique, but I usually just end up ignoring the timer.

What is your ultimate, foolproof "emergency reset" routine when you absolutely have to be productive but have zero motivation? Would love to hear your go-to tricks.

My first attempt at Milk Bread. Expectation vs. Reality is hitting me hard today.

I wanted those silky pull-apart layers... I ended up with a very dense, very confused pound cake. Still going to eat the whole thing though. 10/10 for effort, 2/10 for execution.

My supermarket garlic started a new life in a takeout container… guess I’m a farmer now

Found these garlic cloves sprouting in my pantry the other day. Was gonna throw them out… but somehow ended up setting up a little “home” for them in a plastic takeout box instead.

Now I’m lowkey emotionally invested.

Watching the roots slowly grow is weirdly satisfying. Didn’t expect it, but it’s kinda calming just checking on them every day.

Now I’m just curious how far these garlic guys are gonna go.
