Can someone help me identify this anime? Woman finds cat on rainy day on street and cat turns into a demon (or something) in the end and fights other demons
I'm sorry but this really is all I can't remember about this episode. I woke up in the middle of the night when I was very young and turned on the TV because I couldn't fall back asleep. This episode apparently haunted me for a very long time because I still wonder what it was to this day. I believe it was on Toonami sometime after midnight anywhere between 2000-2004. I looked at the Toonami lineups around that time and couldn't find what I was looking for.
EDIT: The episode had a pretty serious tone to it, and when the woman finds the cat she is on her way to work and it's a rainy street in a pretty normal city. And it definitely aired on TOONAMI.
EDIT 2: Of course I figured out what it was after finally making a post about it. It's "The Big O" episode "Missing Cat". Now I'm scared to watch it again in case I'm emotionally destroyed.
