XFoil Apex ( PLX's fourth xFoil crowding campaign) has raised $140k via 25 backers. That might sound like a lot but it's a very slow start. Each scam (ooops i mean crowdfund) has raised les and less. I expect this one will finish around $250k. Kickstarter take 8-12% of that and the balance won't be enough to fulfil previous campaign backers let alone the new ones.

XFoil have just gone out to backers offering to "upgrade" them from XFoil2 board to a XFoil Apex ( the one they are now selling online and shipping ahead of long suffering crowd funding backers who are still waiting). Having waited year longer than promised backers can now pay a extra $800 and maybe get a board sooner.....maybe
In an attempt to burry all the negative backer feedback XFoil has been posting everywhere on socials (hundreds of posts) under multiple names. Here on reddit, facebook, youtube and indiegogo and kickstarter. Meanwhile they are deleting backer comments left, right and centre.
More bold (crazy?) claims from XFoil. Remember the "outperforms all other efoil (by far) in all conditions" ? Well here is the evidence - a shirt video showing a slow wide arc turn on a xfoil with fixed foils (the only ones people have) and slightly faster wide arc turn on the yet to be shipped dynamic wing. Convinced ?

XFoil have written to backers still waiting for items(i assume most backers). I have summarised the email in this graphic. Note XFoil claimed they were shipping in August 2025 and have missed every date set since but maybe finally.....folks might have gear by October or November depending on how long ships take from China.
The channel is owned by XFoil and is where they attempt to give their product and claims some legitimacy. It has very few followers, most comments get deleted by them and they last posted to the channel 172 days ago. My offending contribution ? A balanced summary of all the comments on XFoil2's crowdfunding campaign Indiegogo. Reckon i will survive 🤣

Back in September 2025 XFoil, after delays and many false promises XFoil announced XFoil2 was SHIPPING. At the same time they launched a new kickstarter campaign. But as is always the case with XFoil and PLX it was lie, a falsehood and misleading claim. Today, 9 months later and most (possibly all) backers are still waiting.....See screen shot from September 2025 and latest comments.

There has been lots of call from XFoil2 backers for a shipping update. The last one was early June. They posted one today....except it wasn't an actual update. It was a call for backers to post footage of them riding on socials on July 1 (they are launching something). Problem is only a few XFoil1 backers have product. XFoil2 backers are still waiting as promise after promise goes by. XFoil delete most comments on socials and try and bury them on Indiegogo (by 'pinning' canned positive ones) but i've captures recent comments below. Still a poor situation for backers.
Another month has gone by and It is now Summer! So time for another XFoil2 update. Looking at indiegogo comments and social channels I've compiled a list of all the customers who have received a complete and working set up and summarised their post ive comments.
