Does anyone like the new refreshers?
Non of the partners at my store like it. I also knew that wouldn't matter, in my area at least, because it is pretty and people want to take pictures of it. I work in an area with a lot of well off middle and high schools so a lot of our demographic is the type to do this.
Even after they ask me and I explain the flavors (I often let them know they are not as sweet and don't taste similar to our other refreshers) many still order a venti and I get to see their faces when they try it.
Starbucks will make a killing (probably already has) from people just wanting to try it at least once and then can just never bring it back so it doesn't matter if it tastes good.
But I'm wondering if I am being too critical and maybe people do enjoy it. Do you or anyone you know who has tried it like it? And if yes, is it more like an "it's ok" or actually wanting to order it again? Maybe if I get the taste of the people who like it I can explain it better when people ask and hopefully lower the amount of half drunk ventis in our trash can.
