Centurylink outage
No home internet for my fiber service completely down. Centurylink customer service says we’re serviced by ATT now, ATT says they don’t service my area. Quantum’s website isn’t working, so can’t enroll through them.
What a mess. Who cancels your internet service with NO NOTICE and says sorry we no longer do internet for your home?
Edit: sorry for the bad English, I was irritated after 2 hours of phone calls.
Resolution: I’m stuck going with either quantum or T Mobile. Obviously I chose T Mobile because who would do business with a company after all this.
No, I did not get any notice and neither did anyone else in my neighborhood. I also filed an FCC complaint, not sure if that will help but I have to vent my grievances somewhere.
Also, don’t bother messaging the Centurylink support team here. It was a total waste of time.
Edit 2: Service is back on. No one is talking to me from Centurylink. I guess I’m happy to have internet until I switch providers.
