Paid $1500 for the shower curb, bed, and floor tile you see here. Just noticed there’s no redgard in the shower curb on the kerdie board and the contractor laid the dry pack before testing for leaks. Can I move forward with my water proof testing or should I take the mortar out to put redgard in the base? I will use ceramic tile on the curb.
I listed my truck on Bring A Trailer last month and the auction was completed with a winning bid that met the reserve price. The vehicle was sold. However, the buyer became unresponsive immediately following the sale and to date, nearly a month later, Bring A Trailer has made no meaningful attempt to contact the buyer or resolve the situation.
Since the auction closed, I have reached out repeatedly via email and the Bring A Trailer chat platform. The responses I have received are infrequent, approximately every other week, and consist solely of a representative named Krystin directing me to contact the support email. That support email has not responded to me since the day I originally submitted my vehicle listing.
Bring A Trailer has failed to:
- Contact the non-responsive buyer on my behalf
- Refund the auction listing fee I paid
- Remove my listing so I can relist the vehicle on another platform
It has now been nearly a month since the auction closed with zero resolution. Beyond the financial impact, this situation has caused significant time loss and emotional burden.
Just stopped by Micro Center, 6 cop cars and everyone’s being evacuated. As I was about to walk up to the doors someone told me that someone died in the store and will be closed for the rest of the day. Anyone know what happened?

I had a blockage couple days back which I was able to successfully clear out with a quick run to Home Depot and renting a snake. A plumber I had already scheduled for later in the week showed up and I decided to have him check it out the line with a camera just to be sure everything was alright. The water accumulation below, is that normal?
This is my cast iron sewer pipe from the exterior kitchen drain out to the sewer. The kitchen plumbing is a little weird where there’s a 90 turn from the kitchen drain to the sewer. That’s the hole on the right side, which is where the water is flowing from.
I’d really appreciate some honest feedback as to what’s going on.
