First Time using Hevy

Hi, I’m a beginner and just wanted to clarify things before I try and setup a routine in Hevy. What’s the best way to exclude a load of exercises from my routine and to be able to save that group of exercises if I ever change my plan in the future? For example if i did a 6 week program with the Trainer option, if I went and changed the program would I have to go through all the exercises all over again to exclude them? Or does it save them as excluded for future use etc?

Thanks.

Vellum Best Practices and Tips

Hi all,

I am just going to try and start my first ebook on Vellum. I'm going through the Vellum vids on Youtube, but in the meantime wanted to ask you seasoned Vellum pros what are some tips and tricks you would give a first time user in order to avoid any headaches? Also, is there a type of way I should format the book in Word before importing it to Vellum? Should I erase all formatting in Word and format it in Vellum instead etc?

I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Room Speakers for Brown/White Noise?

Hey all, I've been trying to find ways to drown out some constant noise, it's like a vacuum cleaner constantly on, and it sounds like it's coming from the flat upstairs although it's not, it's coming from outside. I can do ok with noise cancelling headphones, but I don't like wearing them all the time. In general it sounds like it's coming from above so I'd like to get some good speakers for my room and place them on my bookshelves and having them facing me so that from time to time I can play some brown noise directed down at me to drown out the irritating noise. What would you recommend? If you have better ideas for a setup, please let me know. Thanks.

Beginner

Hello all,

I'm a beginner in terms of learning touch typing. Just yesterday came across ColemakDH and have started learning it, so you can see how basic my level is. I do however type a lot, which was what led me to discovering Ergo keyboards. Is it worth it for someone like me to look into getting one? I've just been visiting a few sites and have seen the Glove80 and Moonlanders etc and a host of others. I'm hearing non staggered ones are maybe better for beginners? I'm not in a rush in terms of any of this affecting work etc., so I can take my time. Just thought if it is better having an ergo keyboard while trying to learn ColemakDH from the onset, then I don't mind looking in to based on what you guys might recommend. Would be nice to get one and just try and stick to it and get used to it. At the moment I use an Apple Magic Keyboard.

Any advice is appreciated.

Beginner in Touch Typing

Hello all, I have just started getting serious about touch typing after being on and off for ages. I saw recommendations for Colemak-DH on the net and thought why not give it a go if it is better instead of spending hours learning the standard QWERTY method. I am in no rush and have time to go as fast or as slow as is needed. Could someone please explain what I have to download and install to begin to learn it on MacOS?

Thanks.
