New Overhaul Multiplayer playtest

Hey everyone,

I've been working on a new overhaul for 7 days since 2.6 and it's ready for multiplayer testing.

I'm looking for a group of people or even just 1 more to test the new mod in multiplayer sometime within the next 7 days.

I'm aiming for a launch with 3.3 stable on October 30th.

I've attached some pictures from the Survival Handbook that comes with the mod. Everything there is also presented within the mod, so no need to read if you don't want to. But if you're willing to embark on a difficult journey through Specialist, write me or respond to this post. Looking forward to seeing you online.

Overhaul Experience

Hey everyone,

With 3.0 stable coming out, I'm very close to launching a new overhaul. I'm starting testing today. (I mean a full play test, I've done weeks of testing already)

One thing that stands out about 3.0 is the massive amounts of new settings. Such a turning off trader and disabling repairs.

Funny enough, some of these items are tackled by the overhaul. Such a traders have no inventory or quests and items can't be repaired with repair kits (except vehicles).

Do people believe it's better for the overhaul to create a specific experience or should I remove some of these aspects and allow players to enable or disable them by settings, even if it breaks the mods progression system?

I think my favorite part of the game is how customizable it is. I'm looking forward to sharing this experience, but I don't want to stop players from experimenting further. At the same time, the overhaul has a very clear mandate and having quests and item repairs breaks the mods.

Let me know your preferences. And if you are up to articulating your thoughts, send them my way. Thanks!

Tldr: If an overhaul overlaps/conflicts with settings, should players still be able to disable large aspects of an overhaul? Or is it more fun to get the true overhaul experience for everyone and let settings handle the rest?
