Kobe 8 replacement midsoles

Kobe 8 replacement midsoles

Has any of you guys tried this Kobe 8 replacement midsoles from China? It has a bootleg zoom unit for the heel and the forefoot and it goes very cheap (around 3.5USD). I love my Kobe 8’s aesthetic wise but they’re just not that comfy to play in with the React foam which is super disappointing given how good the OG Lunarlon was even though it went flat quick. Hope someone has tried using this and I’d be happy to give it a go too

Sharing Tips for Playing on ball Defense

I play pf/c but am well skilled enough to play defense 1-5 decently at the level I play in. That said, I want to share some things that will help you guys be better defenders on the ball.

  1. Always stay square to your man, stay wide, and stay lower than him - Even if you are not as quick or as athletic as some guards, you can make up for all that by doing the above. Staying square means he cant attack one direction because your feet will always be aligned and there wont be opportunities to get past you. Staying wide means that even if you are slower and bigger, you can easily cover up space that they take on drives. Staying lower negates any quick move they make as staying low will always give you a quicker reaction time and movement depending on where they want to go.

  2. Stay patient and wait for them to pick up their dribble before committing on contesting the shot. Downhill players love forcing the action on you and will want you to react prematurely with a jump or a wrong contest. A good defender will wait for the dribble pickup and jump exactly right before the apex of the shot. Even if you don’t get the block, this guarantees a good contest.

  3. Stay on your toes and hold your ground. If you religiously follow number 1, then number 3 should be easy for you. By staying on your toes, the opponent cannot put you off balance as you will always be ready for their moves. By not being a pushover and holding your ground, you will render any contact they make to create space useless. Use your chest, take the hit, stay on balance.

All 3 are essential for playing strong defense 1-5 especially for not so athletic folks like me. Ofcourse, none of the above will work if you dont put any effort into it. Defense is an effort game. Even if you have a limited offensive skillset, if you have the effort and also the fundamentals of defense in check, you should be able to make an impact in the game.

Hi! We're looking for a new derma for my GF (26) around Angeles/Mabalacat.

Current Derma is MySkin in Balibago. Problem is doc is asking for too much personal info na that it's becoming uncomfty and also hassle mag pa in-person check-up sa kanya cuz it eats up your whole day.

Any other derma recos na mas relaxed? Focus is on acne related to PCOS. GF has been taking isotret for more than a year now and malaki naman na improvement. Just want a doctor na mas chill and easier puntahan for checkups.

Thank you!
