ADVICE NEEDED: Aerospace engineering in a new college in Blr vs Amrita blr robotics +ai

Im really confused about which college to join, and need a reality check. I was pretty decent till 10th (97%), but due to some personal issues, i couldnt perform the same in 11th and 12th, and now have to join tier 3 colleges. Im looking at my btech as a reset to rebuild my competence. I know im delusional, but my long term target is to work as a race engineer in motorsports or a aerodynamics/CFD engineer abroad. Im aware that my understanding of foreign masters admissions might be off-reality given my current academic standing, which is why I am seeking your perspective.

Now, I have two options:

  1. Amrita blr robotics+ai

  2. btech aerospace from a new college in bengaluru

The first option is safer, as amrita bengaluru is somewhat of a reputed college.

But, the second option, is my priority course. Because the college is new and lacks a proven track record, my plan is to simultaneously pursue the online BS in aeronautics from IITM, to back myself with a premier institutional brand and rigorous curriculum. The problem is, i am unaware about how joining a new college, and a niche branch, affect me.

Please give ur insights.
