I’m still looking for a few more participants for my postgraduate dissertation at the University of Hertfordshire, exploring the experiences of individuals with IIH who have used GLP-1 medications such as Wegovy, Ozempic or Mounjaro.

Participation simply involves sharing a short written account of your experience in your own words — there are no interviews or appointments involved.

Hi everyone, I hope this is okay to post.

I’m a postgraduate student studying at Hertfordshire University and I’m planning to create a short anonymous study on the experiences of people with Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) who have used GLP-1 medications (like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro etc.).

I'm doing this as part of my dissertation project and I’m interested in understanding how these treatments affect things like symptoms, weight, and overall quality of life — especially from the patient perspective, which isn’t always captured well in clinical studies.

Before I create the survey, I just wanted to ask — would people here be open to completing a short (10 minute) anonymous questionnaire about their experiences? The survey would mainly involve writing about your experience in your own words, rather than selecting from fixed multiple-choice answers.

It would focus on things like symptoms, quality of life, and how the treatment has affected you.

No personal details would be collected.
