Please guide me (Absolute Beginner)
Hello peeps, I am an absolute beginner when it comes to stuff related to hackathons or any kind of project development. I'll first mention what I do know.
I know decent bit of C++, some amount of dsa and object oriented programming. I have only ever used these for CP on Codeforces (Specialist with max rating 1500+). I know a tiny bit of python but haven't learned dsa or oops in python specifically. Ofcourse I know a fair bit of GitHub commands. I know some amount of ML (By "know" I don't mean the math behind it, I just know that this or that exists ready to use). I am learning Al/ML currently.
Whenever I look at real projects or some hackathon statements, I often get overwhelmed, not knowing where to start from, not knowing what skills I need to learn and not knowing where to learn them from. I know that I will need to rely heavily on Al in the beginning but I really don't feel comfortable with that because it feels like I'm not learning anything from this. Can you guys point me in the right direction as to "what I should learn", "Where I should learn", "When I should learn", "How I should learn" maybe even "Why I should learn".
For context I am in a tier 1 college CS in India (One of the old IITs), seeing people around me participating and even winning hackathons is giving me inferiority complex and I'm afraid I'm wasting my Summer holidays
(Seeing a few resumes here also give me an inferiority complex)
