I’m thinking about upgrading my bike, but before I commit to buying something new, I’d like to get some seat time on a few different models.
I have a 5-hour trip coming up in October and was considering renting a bike for the weekend. It seems like a good excuse to try something different on a longer ride and see what I actually like.

My dream book would have Outlander vibes—an FMC who somehow gets transported back to Ancient Rome and falls in love there—but I’m also happy with books that are simply set in Ancient Rome.

Looking for recommendations for Amazon finds that focus on natural fabrics like linen, cotton, silk, hemp, or bamboo.
I’m 5’3” and around 190 lbs, and I gravitate toward oversized, flowy, comfortable clothing. I prefer pieces that drape rather than cling, and I like sleeves for arm coverage, so no tanks.
I’m mainly looking for loose tops, oversized button-downs, wide-leg pants, and casual dresses with sleeves. Breathable fabrics are a must, and I tend to prefer neutral, earthy, or warm colors.
