I’m looking for advice with toilet training for a pug that is not crated. She will go poo outside when you take her out but if you’re inside she will just go in the house she won’t hold it and gives no indication that she wants to go outside. She usually goes in the same spot in the living room so now when we spot her going over there we shout “outside” and she does head to the back door so it’s not like she doesn’t know where to go. I have also used enzyme cleaners in the house. I do work a 09:00-17:00 but she gets checked in at 11:30 for At least an hour where she is walked and then again at around 2:30. I’m home around 5 and also give her an half hour walk some point between then and 7. She’s 6 months now and just doesn’t seem to be improving at all. She is smart too, she knows lie down, paw, spin, take a drink, go to bed, which is pretty good for a pug. She also seems to be very picky especially with peeing outside. Sometimes being out and as soon as we get in going on the floor. Any advice would be appreciated, other than crate training. Each to their own but I do not want my dog crated for hours during the day or all night.

Someone with a full pug asked me if my girl Is a chug or a jug. Lol she looks very puggish to me I’ve never really thought about what she could be mixed with.
