Tiny dog living her best life in this heat wave

Rocket loved all the smells. Wasn’t reactive to other dogs. Yes, he did try to eat sand… why!? 🤷‍♀️ This was his longest trip and he did so well. Lots of water and treats at his disposal.

He started to snore

Sorry if this isn't allowed but I just feel the need to share this little dude somewhere.

He was my first dog and I had him for many years. Batman passed away at 18 - old enough to vote - about a month ago. I thought time would make the grief go away, but it hasn't.

No one tells you how lonely losing your soul companion is. He was truly my best friend and always made me smile and laugh. I still get phantom sensations of him brushing against my leg or hearing the clatter of his feet. It sucks.

So, I just wanted to share him with someone. Even if it is a tiny little subreddit since I don't really know anyone who quite gets what it's like to love a chug.

I've included pics of him from young to very old so you can appreciate Batman in all his glory.

Recently moved house to a nicer place with a bigger yard. Gimli is obsessed.
