So, I know they have a very crazy mix of ancestry which combines heat tolerance (Chihuahua [Mexico]) vs cooler (Pug) [China] and bc we aren't even we can only observe and report to one another.

I live in North Central Florida. We moved from Atlanta.

Here's my big things. I walk her at least once a day, 15m, in the neighborhood and once a week in a very well shaded park for at least 45m.

I try to limit her extended exposure but we do at least go for a hike and camp once a year in the Appalachians.

Should I be overly concerned or am I being a helicopter parent?

I'm "sad" b/c eventually Mary will go. She sneaked in through other family to capture my heart.

My main concern isn't my loss of her, which will devastate me, but I have shared with my manger and it will require days of leave.

But I'm selfish and want to ensure she will teach the ones who come after her what I taught the first dog I raised alone. Whom taught all those after her, including Mary.
