Hey everyone, I have a 2017 Honda Accord LX and I’ve been dealing with a loud metal scraping/grinding type noise coming from the front/under the hood area. At first it only happened when braking or accelerating, but now I can hear it while driving and even while idling sometimes.

Some things I noticed:

Noise gets louder when I rev or accelerate

Can hear it while driving normally now

Sometimes noticeable at idle too

Doesn’t really sound like normal brake squealers

No brake vibration

Pads are newer

Sounds metallic, almost like something rubbing, rattling, or loose
