Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but this is one of the first subreddits I could think of that might have good suggestions.

I'm an Addiction Studies student, and I have an assignment in the next couple of weeks asking me to analyze something that portrays how masculity, violence, and substance use is portrayed in media.

I'm excited for this assignment, but I have no idea where I would start. I was hoping a few people here may have good recommendations?

It can be anything from a movie, tv show, documentaries, news stories, an ad, or something as simple as a social media post. Right now I'm leaning towards a movie, but I am open to any suggestions!
