Hi all, I've got $160k (USD) to invest, but to be honest I know basically nothing about investing yet, so plain-English answers would be hugely appreciated. Im in my early twenties and live in the UK but I’m not a British citizen.

My questions:

1. Where would you put this money if you were me, and why?
2. What are the biggest mistakes beginners make?
3. Is there anything you'd recommend I read or watch first?
