Nothing will ever beat melanies debut album, Crybaby.

Consistently throughout the history of this womans career she has not one album to beat her debut. Its embarrassing. And in my honest opinion, Crybaby isnt even that good in the first place 😭😭

Directly quoted from the melanie wiki "K-12 is Cry Baby stepping outside of her family and love life and acting as a narrator for the album. The standard version of the album has a total of 13 songs, and each track represents a different grade level from Kindergarten through 12th grade."

In short, Wheels on the bus takes place on the bus ride to Crybabies school. Crybaby sees the students around her doing strange behaviors, like smoking marijuana or cigarettes, having sex and bullying Crybaby. She attempts to ignore the strange behaviour her classmates are participating in and she also says that the bus driver knows what is happening but is choosing not to say anything about it. The whole "creativity" of it is melanie taking a nursery rhyme that is associated with happy young kids learning for the first time and adding explicit natures to it that may seem shocking to the listener. Its essentially Melanie sticking her oc in a school bus and making her oc an innocent girl that doesnt deserve the bullying and the shitshow going on around her but at the same time shes not naive (because melanie cannot create a naive character for the life of her), shes acutally a girl with superpowers that knows it all and makes snarky comments and remarks in the lyrics as she is some grand observer of all of this.

Anyway lets address the elephant in the room, why are we depicting kindergartens as having sex and smoking in a school bus whilst authority watches and does nothing? This song is extremely out of place for what is supposed to be a song reperesenting kindergarten?? It feels like this song was written in the mindset of ethier forgetting this was a concept album depicting different years of school or choosing to make it a concept album at the end of the album song recordings.

Im gonna get straight to the point,

Melanies lyrics in The Vatican are purposely made for shock value, the original message of criticising hyper religious men that abuse those around them despite that being against their faith gets immediately lost once she had added this shock value to her lyrics. Melanie thought of serious and horrible cases that happen in the church to add her shock value and I think most of humanity can agree that men of the church sexually abusing little boys is definitely a horrible case, so she took that and ran with it without checking her lyrics to see if they were harmful and they are 100% harmful. Let's read some of these lyrics.

"It’s no wonder all the scandals are involving hurting little boys"

Do I even have to explain

"Come out the closet, sip my holy water"

This, wether intentionally or not, frames the horrific crime of child molestation as a byproduct of "repressed" homosexuality. Melanie, as a fully grown adult, should know that sexual abuse comes from power and control and not sexual orientation. Its a crime of opportunity for sick freaks.

"If y'all just fucked each other did some poppers, you'd see God and finally rejoice"

She is suggesting that if these men embraced their own sexuality, they wouldn't project their shame onto other people with abuse. The suggestion that the solution was simply for the priests to have a "gay awakening" is sickening, and even if this was unintentional she still did no research on the harm this lyric could have or simply didnt care.

I am fully aware melanie is trying to use satire, but dont care. These lyrics are still fucking disgusting. I would've much preferred if melanie created a song just criticising hyper religious men that abuse their wives despite that being against their faith instead of just adding this random gay point to it. It was unnecessary and harmful and could lead her young impressionable fanbase to have this negative stereotype towards gay men.

The photos in question are above, this is often used as an argument by Melanies fanbase to try and prove that timothy is just jealous of Melanie and she made up her story. So here's a debunking of that:

In timothys statement, she says she stayed friends with melanie after the assault as she didnt realise that Melanie had assaulted her until the trauma hit later on in life. So yes, these photos were taken from after the assault took place but that doesnt mean that Timothy is lying. Timothy was still friends with melanie after the assault happened, so it makes sense she'd post these kinds of "fan" posts towards melanie as a way to support her friend at the time.
