Am I going to traumatize my daughter by leaving her to go out of town for 3 nights?
I am a stay at home mom to my 17 month old girly. I am going out of town for my best friends wedding that I am a bridesmaid in and I am so nervous.
She is going to be with my husband (her dad) and my mom because of my husbands work schedule. My daughter and I are always together and I have never been away from her for more than a few hours. My biggest issue is that I currently co sleep with her (I know she should be sleeping in her own bed- I should have prepared better for this).
She is very clingy to me and I’m so scared to leave her. I know it will probably be good for my own mental health and a good chance for my husband to bond with her more but is it going to traumatize her having me just gone for three days? How can I make this easier for her?
