Can I use a higher voltage replacement oven element?
I scoured the internet for the exact replacement of my fan oven element but the cooker is a fair age so I didn't find it, however I did find a genuine one for the updated version of my own cooker model which is identical, though it didn't state the voltage.
The old element was 230v, the new one is 240v. I'm not knowledgeable about electricals, is it okay to use this element or will it cause problems? I really don't want to burn the house down or anything.
