Need help repairing door frame
This door has been kicked in 3 separate times over some years lol I know sounds crazy but its true. Long story boring, I desperately need to finally get this accurately repaired because currently if you knock too hard, the door will sometimes open even though its definitely locked! I added a bunch of pictures so I hope that helps. We had most recently tried putting in some more screws and or nails but idk how much that even helped if it even did. So I would like to just purchase everything I will need to accurately repair this so that way I can save money I would normally pay a handy man.
So I would greatly appreciate the super detailed help so its as if im reading instructions right out of a fixing door frames for dummies kind of book. Haha....im in no way dumb about tools or diy fix-it type of jobs around the house, even though, yes i am a female(;
The way my brain works best is when I can read detailed instructions, see a bunch of pictures, and even seeing videos if available.
So please let me know what parts or supplies I will need to purchase as well as how I will need to fix my door frame so you wont be able to tell it was ever kicked in!!!
