I wrote this comment on the up to date Reddit app but after hitting submit I saw that the formatting of the link was broken where it showed the full text with brackets and parentheses rather than turning the text in brackets into a hyperlink to the link in parentheses. Open opening it on desktop where I use old.reddit I saw that it had inserted backslashes in front of the brackets that were somehow invisible on the app. To be clear I did not type the backslashes, the app somehow added them automatically before the brackets. After editing the comment to delete the backslashes the formatting was fixed for both desktop and the mobile app.

Westeros genetics do not work like real world genetics, it's literally a major plot point of the series.
