Unknown mysterious names on Credit Card bill.
Has this ever happened to you? An unfamiliar merchant has charged your credit card causing you to lock the card and call the card issuer to cancel the card and submit a fraud report. All this only to find out it's a legitimate charge! If you have seen cryptic names please share them them in this post.
Merchant: WINYAN INVESTMENTS BEL $4
Actual Merchant: Parking Charges at an exit gate. (doctor visit) The BEL part is the location, in my case Belleville.
Merchant: WF/CA4621110462 VANCOUVER BC
Actual Merchant: Wayfair Canada The order number forms part of the merchant name.
Merchant: MyIQ.com
