Will be in JLT for a month for work and a break combined, we are indian Gujarati couple with a 8 month year old daughter

Looking for home childcare 2/3 times a week

Also help with Indian Gujarati cooking

Any advice, thoughts, direction

Have around £500k in a 2.75% 90 day notice account

Although probably wont need it for a year

What other safe options do i have to achieve 5% +

Concerned about online banks , i see posts about blocked and locked out accounts etc. any thoughts?

Equities , index funds etc all seem to propose 5 year returns to plan for up and downs
