Champs that take Draw Your Sword has no downsides

Playing into Draw Your Sword is miserable.

I wouldn't mind if they itemized like a bruiser, but every single range champ that takes this augment abuses Death's Dance. They become near impossible to kill! Graves and Samira, I'm looking at you!

It's too much damage, move speed, and life steal (idm the hp and attack speed) - and I hate that it scales 0-100% more of those stats based on the champ's default attack range. Like a Caitlin with this gets idk like 10k gold worth of stats!! She can also headshot from far away despite being melee.

They also get to double-dip into the Scoped Weapons augment line too!

Honourable mention: Vayne with FTH and Double Tap one-shotting everything (feelsbadman).

Fun Fact: You can't get offered Draw Your Sword if you've built Runaan's already (pls build this, it got buffed :D)

Can you Empower any unit?

Specifically with the card Profiteer, where it disempowers something to empower a legend, unit, or gear.

I'll use this as an example:

I have an Empowered Ambessa Legend and a ready Ruin Runner in base. I play Profiteer to disempower Ambessa Legend, and 'Empower' my Ruin Runner - I know this does nothing, However, I was told that the Empower status can still be applied (basically attach the Empowered token to that unit, similar to a Buff) to units even if they don't have that keyword or an ability tied to being Empowered.

With that interaction, it would Empower my Ambessa Legend again. Not only that, I would be able to use cards like Guttural Roar to give +4 might instead of +2.

Is this correct?

Trying to understanding some mechanics with Leblanc cards (Legend/Deathknell)

First question is about Leblanc's legend ability:

When you conquer or hold, you may discard 1 and exhaust me to play a ready Reflection unit token there. It becomes a copy of another unit there. Give it temporary.

My understanding is that, let's say the opponent conquers a BF and activates LB's passive by discarding and exhausting the legend. It will create a 0 might ready Reflection token first. Which I can react to by playing something like Gust or Retreat to put the token back to their hand which will destroy it before it copies the unit, is that correct?

The next one is probably asked a lot of times, and it's got to do with Glasc Mixologist. Say I have a Glasc Mixologist at a BF and 1 Karthus at base. If the opponent attacks with a 6 might unit, it will kill Glasc Mixologist and put his Deathknell on the chain 2 times.

My understanding is that Deathknell happens after combat clean up, but before combat result is determined.

Glasc would deal 5 dmg to their unit -> their unit deals 6 to Glasc killing it and putting the Deathknell on the chain -> then combat clean-up would happen (opponent's 6 might unit would heal to full) -> and Deathknell resolves playing 2 units to the same BF * -> New combat is staged (with the same attacker and defender status) -> Opponents 6 might unit wins combat -> Watchful Sentry Deathknell goes onto the chain -> Combat clean up (heals) happens -> Deathknell resolves, and I draw 4 cards -> Opponent gets conq point (combat result).

* Say I played 2x Watchful Sentry from the trash to the same BF.

Sorry if that was too confusing, just trying to get some clarity here. Thanks :D

Two questions - assume there's a Mageseeker at a battlefield:

  1. If I'm defending, and the opponent is attacking and I reveal a hidden unit (which counts as playing it) such as Mischievous Marai or Pakaa Cub, what happens?

  2. How does this interact with spells like Thrill of The Hunt? which requires banishing a friendly unit and playing it to a battlefield.
