I’ve booked a twilight wedding (5pm ceremony, not Bella and Edward themed). The coordinator at the venue suggested forgoing a sit down meal and going from reception drinks to a hog roast buffet, which I thought was a great idea.

My future MIL was horrified by the thought of “hot sandwiches” for a wedding breakfast. I’m also wondering if people will be starving by the time we have food? Should I serve canapés?

What are other people’s experiences of twilight weddings? And are hog roasts “just a sandwich?” And other tips/insight would be greatly appreciated!
