What is inpatient care like in Victoria?
I'm having suicidal thoughts and I need to get help. Thinking of voluntary commitment. What's the experience like? Would I be treated with compassion? What restrictions would be placed on me? Do I need to pay for anything (ex. if I get put on medication)? How likely is it to help or hurt?
Edit: lotta comments here already. Thanks for all the support and advice. I feel better about calling the crisis line now. I'll start with that.
Edit 2: called the crisis line and feel a lot better. I'll go down to Foundry tomorrow and see if I can talk to someone about the root causes of these feelings. Thanks all. Honestly even seeing all these responses helped, even if there's too many to respond to.
