My Grandfather bought an old iPhone. It’s his first smartphone, why he chose an X who knows. Anyway it’s locked to AT&T, and the seller has ghosted. No surprise there. AT&T says it’s part of an account in collections. When we did an IMEI searched it shows it’s not stolen or blacklisted.
It uses a physical SIM card, but was told switching SIM cards won’t unlock it. Is there anyway to go about unlocking the phone for him so he can use it?
