Waltz actually likes nuclear Iran... But I take pity on Defensive Realists...
Until 2028 here is what I see as the reality of the situation:
>If we get rid of Iran's nuclear capabilities, Trump and Israel win, and politically this seems unpopular.
>It probably will require boots on the ground. I swear you can get banned from reddit stating the trolly problem when it comes to real actual humans. Is it worth spending lives to prevent nuclear proliferation?
>Before we are a bit too liberal idealist, do you remember when we laughed at North Korea for trying to become a nuclear power? 'Nahhhh whatever, George Bush republican nonsense'... Oh shit North Korea has nuclear missiles.
This subreddit would be way more interesting and intellectual if Trump/Republicans weren't president. However politics cause us to view this as the erratic behavior of a nepobaby with orange skin.
I read Waltz, I think I want to maintain the status quo. No more nuclear powers. Trump just happens to be president during the critical moment.
