I'm not a skater but I've done ballet and pointe shoes wear off fast it's like with ripeness of avocados, so I'm wondering...

⛸How often do elite skaters have to change their boots/blades? And can you mix and match boots and blades to find your preferred combo?

⛸How often do you have to sharpen the blades?

⛸I read somewhere that Ilia changes his after GP so does it mean he has only one set of boots for the whole season?

⛸Kao Miura had an issue with his boots splitting at olympics and apparently he taped them. Do athletes not have a spare set that is already driven in for unforseen events like these?
