My hair is quite long, dyed black for about 3 years with shades eq, thick, straight, and used to be smooth.

Over the past year I keep finding superrrr coarse kinked hairs of different lengths throughout my hair.
This has caused super crazy flyaways some bent at a 90 degree angle. Does anyone know why or how I can tame it? I'm almost 19 so I'm wondering if it's hormonal but I'm hoping there's something I can do to help.
