My '25 CT5-V has been reminding me the past few days to install an update and I did it today. Most of the updates seem to be behind the scenes stuff, probably had 6 or so since I bought the car ~18 months ago and never noticed any material change besides getting Themes, but this recent update changed a few things for the better.
The guage cluster now shows what gear the transmission is in when in drive/auto (when using the Sport layout), which is something I always wished it had done before. I switch back-and-forth to manual paddle shifting fairly often, so this was a nice update.
The cruise control icon is moved up next to the speedo on the Sport layout, which looks kinda cluttered now, but is a more logical place to put it TBH.
The Track HUD has a better tachometer display. The HUD in general seems better, dunno, brighter and centered better or something too.
The V app on the center screen now has a new section for the launch control and 0-60 timers.
There might be more updates I haven't noticed yet, but has anyone else with a CT5-V or 5V Blackwing done the recent update?
Edit: I went driving again and the Track HUD isn't a tachometer per se, its morseo shift lights. Still neat tho.
