First time I ever have a red white and blue fleet! Figured it was worth a photo! Happy 4th friends!

Just crossed the 400 mile mark, only thing left to do is drive her!

Took my CT5-V Blackwing to a novice HPDE day with Apex driving school at MSR in Cresson TX. The car was amazing and handled the Texas heat really well. It was a blast, especially seeing what the car is capable of when my instructor drove.

Makes the front end look much more aggressive without the eyesore chrome emblem. I preferred the all black over colored blocks to make it more subtle and blend in.

So I love the ct4 BW but felt it was just a little too quiet. I love the sound of the CORSA exhaust but spending 2500+ dollars for noise seems insane.

So I looked up a couple videos and found that you can actually do a muffler delete and keep the OEM valves so there’s no check engine light.

Here are the results. I think the sound is OEM plus when the valves are fully open. And when they’re closed it’s just like OEM. I kept the stock tips to avoid and police shenanigans. In the video it cold starts in touring mode, I open it to V mode to rev, then bring it back to partial close.

Don’t shoot the messenger. Just gonna wait for the mad crapper to show up 😂

And she was thirsty. Was just under a C note. I love driving this car. And fwiw I will share much more detail when I am actually ready to sell.
