27Won RMM

Once upon a time, i was a Civic SI owner, but I couldn't just be happy with what I had, so I had to upgrade. And when cleaning up the garage make space for my next obsession, I found the 27Won RMM I'd had on my Civic SI.

Rather than just throw it away, I thought I'd give it away.

I don't see Civic SIs very often around here, but when I do, it makes me remember the little sedan fondly.

The next time I see one in a parking lot, I plan on gently placing the slightly used RMM on the windshield wiper to hopefully find a new home.

While the likelihood the new owner of this RMM will be on this sub-reddit is incredibility slim, its not completely zero...

If this gets any attention, I'll post a follow up when I come across a parked SI to re-home this RMM.

Thoughts On Driving Shoes?

I'm familiar with Piloti, but never owned a pair. Have you ever owned a pair of dedicated driving shoes, of any brand, and was it worth it? Is it just hype?

I've been driving manual for a long time. I love it and plan to always have a manual car in my life. I am a lifer.

I can not heel-toe.... Though, I've not spent a serious amount of time trying to learn. I can sit in the car, in the garage, without the engine running and I am freaking Max Verstappen. When trying to actually apply it while the car is moving, I can not maintain the right amount of pressure on the brake pedal and my feeble brain is quickly overloaded. At this point, I can rev-match purely by habit.

I've seen some people use their heel on the brake pedal (pretty rare), toes on the brake as well as using the side of their shoe while rotating their foot to press the throttle with the other edge of their shoe. I'm curious, for you super-humans that are able to do this; what method do you use? What is the most common foot orientation?

Any less than obvious method to practice such a skill? If I could actually master this, I'd be so excited, I wouldn't even care about my wife's new boyfriend, Robert. Fuck Robert.

If you respond indicating that its a bad idea, or I'm going to destroy my car, or its only for the race track etc etc; you can go play Doctor with Robert™

Finished an absolute mountain of yard work (14+ yards of mulch), opened a beer in celebration and found myself just looking at her instead of admiring the massive amount of mulch I'd moved.

I know I'm a bit odd duck so I ask you, am I alone in this? Are you just still captivated by your ride?

If so, lets see your favorite picture

Cheers!!!

The survey was focused on the use of the performance features. (Launch Control, PTM, V-Button, Performance App).

I assume it was pretty wide spread; curious how others answered it and if it will really direct the next generation of V-Series.
