I am 17 and my parents have given me a 33k budget for a car for college. I am very grateful but also very indecisive on what I should get. Originally I was planning to get a 2026 Honda Civic Si since it seemed like a perfect car all around, but after more thought I am starting to reconsider. This would be my first manual (which I am interested in learning). The civic is a great car with a lot of aftermarket support, but I appreciate the finer things in life and am starting to consider an Integra A-spec with technology and a manual transmission. The only thing is that I can either get a brand new civic with warranty and fresh paint for an easy ceramic coat, or a used integra with 30-40k miles but it won’t depreciate in value as quickly. I also love the look of the Integra a lot more as it seems more aggressive to me.

Basically, is the Integra a-spec manual going to give me the same reliability and aftermarket support as the civic si since they are basically the same car and what choice should I make taking all things into consideration.

I would also like to note that I love the hatchback feature and not feeling the pressure of having a brand new car. Sorry for the ramble and thanks 🙏
